As I get older I’m more aware
A few years from now
I will be approaching such an age that I’m
Looking at retirement time
But my kids are still living with me
Making me so poor
One thing’s for certain
I’ll still be workin’
When I’m sixty-four
What else can I do
My mortgage runs until
Twenty-twenty-two
Social security is a ruse
The money is gone
The sad truth is that I’d be worth more if I’d
Gotten into a wreck and died
And now I see my 403B
Has gone through the floor
One thing’s for certain
I’ll still be workin’
When I’m sixty-four
Every summer brings another bill that I can barely make
Like a brand new roof
I can never save
My paycheck comes and I
Just give it a wave
My doctor says I’m working too much
What else can I do
Seems like a new payment comes due everyday
Had to drain my 401K
It’s looking like I’ll be on the job
Now and evermore
One thing’s for certain
I’ll still be workin’
When I’m sixty-four
